From Sunday 5th September we will be returning to our pre-Covid worship pattern. Morning services will be:

Emmanuel 10am on second and fourth Sundays
All Saints Eucharist 10am on second Sunday
All Saints Morning Worship 10am on fourth Sunday
St Cecilia’s Morning Worship 10am on first Sunday
St Cecilia’s Eucharist 10am on third Sunday
St Cecilia’s Eucharist 10.30am every Tuesday
Emmanuel Eucharist 9.30am every Wednesday
There will be a face to face evening prayer on the first Sunday of the month at 6.30pm and the other Sundays on zoom, for the time being. However we will, of course, need to be vigilant and flexible depending on how infection rates change.
The Bistre Parish churches have a strong following. Lead by Rev Canon Martin Batchelor, who is also the Borderlands Mission Area Leader, we serve the local community through faith, fellowship, worship and prayer. Martin is supported by Rev Sally Baird and Rev Chancellor Pam Powell, as well as a committed team of readers, worship leaders and pastoral assistants.
BISTRE PARISH CHURCHES - Part of Borderlands Mission Area
Welcome to Bistre Parish. We are a group of three churches within the larger Borderlands Mission Area. Comprising Emmanuel Church Bistre, St Cecilia's, Mynydd Isa and All Saints, Lane End, we offer worship, warmth and friendship in abundance.
Borderlands Mission Area is one of the largest Mission Areas within the Church in Wales. Our 19 urban churches and rural parishes have come together to share skills and resources in what is a truly exciting way to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.
With community and fellowship at the heart of everything we do, we work as a team to encourage, support and inspire one another. There is strength in numbers, and by coming together as a Mission Area of 19 churches, we are able to rise to modern day challenges.
